Diversity Reading Challenge 2019

As a reader, one of the things I find I find most exciting about books is the opportunity they give to experience life as another person. As a writer, I feel that one of the most important skills I must master is being able to write about people who are not me.

My goals for this challenge are to read at least 2 diverse books each month (I tend to average 4 to 6 books a month) and to try and complete the mini challenge goals for May through December.

2019 TBR Reading Challenge

Although I stopped posting consistently on I Write, I Read, I Review in mid 2013, I did not stop adding books to my TBR over on GoodReads. Now that I'm getting back into book blogging leading up to the release of SEALER'S GAME, I thought it might be a good idea to go back and get some of those books read.

My goal here is to read 12 books from my TBR by the end of December 2019. Can I do it? Let's find out!

Audiobook Challenge 2019

I got into audiobooks in 2016 via Audible, but fell off the wagon by 2018. I want to get back into using them to get some of my reading done, since I'm a slower reader and these can be listened to while planning, farming in an MMO, etc.

I'm aiming to take on the Weekend Warrior challenge level, which rmeans I need to listen to 5 to 10 audiobooks before the end of December, 2019.

Nonfiction Reading Challenge 2019

As much as I love reading and writing about magic, fantastic creatures and faraway realms, I agree with those who claim that truth can be stranger than fiction. With that in mind, I've decided to join this challenge to make sure at least some of my time reading is spent with my feet firmly on the ground.

I want to read at least one nonfiction book each month, but would be thrilled if that wound up being two instead. We shall see.

Nonfiction Reading Challenge 2019

Who isn't excited to read the latest, most anticipated books? I know I'm gonna buy them. I know I'm gonna read them. So I might as well use them as a way to socialize with you guys. And get a few reviews done. Maybe.

For this challenge I'm aiming for the Newbie tier of 1 to 30 new books since I'm already doing a wide range of challenges, some of which will eat up time separate from this. Here we go!
